Situated in Wanaka’s Kirimoko development, the Mills House is a standout residential architectural project by Dunlop Builders, where BTP Painters and Decorators helped to create a warm atmosphere with stunning timber features.
Stepping outside the norm, BTP handled the timber flooring, applying coats of high-quality flooring product to ensure the surface remained durable, while preserving its natural beauty. Light tones on the walls paired perfectly with the wood, creating a bright, inviting interior. BTP’s use of premium products, including Osmo – an eco-friendly timber finish made from tree wax – ensures long lasting woodwork.
Outside painting consisted of distinctive bright orange soffits, giving the house a funky, modern flair. They also treated the decking to ensure the same durability carries through to the outdoor spaces. The result is a home that perfectly balances sustainability and modern design, fitting right into the eco-conscious Kirimoko development.
