The Breens – Lake Hāwea project, contracted by the Queenstown Lakes Community Housing Trust to Breens Construction, is a noteworthy affordable housing initiative featuring 28 spec houses in the Longview development of Lake Hāwea.
The house exteriors feature a mix of cedar and Linea board, with varying colours applied to give each home a unique identity. Inside, simple colours maintain a clean aesthetic, while plywood in the garages received a clear coat to ensure durability.
BTP’s work extends beyond residential and architectural projects – in this case, contributing to a community-focused development. BTP worked on the interiors and exteriors of these 2- and 3-bedroom houses over the span of 10 months, showcasing their ability to handle large-scale projects and comprehensive contracts.
